Founded more than 20 years ago, Valliyammai Matric High School has grown into a trusted institution known for its excellence in academics and all-round development. Currently, more than 210 students are enrolled from LKG up to 10th Standard, supported by a team of highly qualified and passionate teachers.
Our founder, Mr. V.C. Arumugham, envisioned a school that delivers not only academic knowledge but also moral values and life skills to every child. Over the years, the school has built a strong reputation for discipline, results, and inclusiveness.
The school’s guiding principle is to make quality education accessible to every child, especially those from poor and downtrodden backgrounds. By focusing on both intellectual and personal development, Valliyammai Matric High School has become a pillar of trust for parents and a place of pride for the local community.
About the Trust
Meera Arumugam Educational Trust, established in 2003, is the proud managing body of Valliyammai Matric High School. The trust was founded with a noble mission — to spread the light of education to rural and underprivileged children, ensuring equal opportunities for all.
The Trust strongly believes that education is the most powerful tool for social change and progress. Guided by this principle, it provides the school with continuous support in infrastructure, administration, and academic development.
Under the dedicated leadership of the Trust members, the school has grown into a respected institution that not only imparts knowledge but also instills values of integrity, discipline, and service to society. The Meera Arumugam Educational Trust continues to uphold its vision of “Education for People’s Sake, not for Money’s Sake,” ensuring that every child receives the best possible start in life.
